This free advertising service is operated for the benefit of past/present/future owners and sailors of Santana 20 sailboats, etc.

This service is "ad free" - we do not provide advertising/marketing for commercial/for-profit entities other than W.D Schock Corp.

We are trying to re-Build our “Where are they Now” list of all active Santana 20’s. If you are advertising your boat, we would like to know who the new owner is or at minimum, where it’s new home will be of you do not want to disclose the new owners information.

It is is our intent to provide a consistently operated and honest service that users can trust for its timeliness, accuracy and fairness.  To provide the desired level of service, we have instituted the following rules:

  • We reserve the right to reject, edit, or correct ads as we see fit.

  • Let us know what information you wish to post such as phone #, and email address.

  • No guarantee is made on how quickly an ad will be posted. 

  • Ads will will be taken down after 90 days unless an extension is requested.

  • Links to other websites are not permitted in ads.

I’m reaching out to your S20 organization because we need to find a new home for our Santana 20 (#292) sailboat. We have another sailboat coming and need this one removed from our slip as soon as possible. Do any of you know someone who would like to have our boat for free? It is in the Santa Barbara Harbor and comes with a newer gasoline outboard. Do you know of anyone in the Southern California region who would like her relatively new sails including the main, jib, spinnaker, etc). We also have some other parts that are in very good condition (white vinyl v-berth and aft-berth cushions, a green tiller and sail cover with 6 green and white stripped  sunbrella pillows, plexiglass hatch panels, etc.)

Santana 20 #662 Marina Del Rey, CA

We bought this wonderful boat from the nearby Yacht Club a few years ago and have used it every summer. It has an older (original?) main sheet and sails, with a genoa and a spinnaker, and a few lines that I never learned to use. Below deck are the sails and a few older life jackets, an oar, and an electric panel that runs the running lights. Note the panel is not connected to power, and I do not know if the wiring is in order. The boat is in a slip in the marina, I do not have a motor or a trailer. You will have to contact the dockmaster to rent your own slip if you plan on keeping it in the marina, as I will be using it for our next boat. Located in Marina Del Rey, CA
